Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation and refund guidelines are designed to provide flexibility while allowing us to properly prepare and coordinate every excursion experience.
Booking Changes & Cancellations
Please review the cancellation timelines applicable to your excursion before making changes to an existing booking.
Standard Excursions
Applies to Mokoro Riding, Boat Cruising and similar scheduled activities.
- Cancellations or changes made 24 hours or more before the activity are permitted.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the activity are not accepted.
Private, Group & Full-Day Tours
Applies to private experiences, group bookings and full-day excursions including Moremi Tours.
- Cancellations or changes require at least 48 hours notice.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours are not accepted.
Refund Policy
Refund eligibility is determined by the applicable cancellation period for the booked activity.
- Approved cancellations made within the required notice period qualify for a full refund.
- Cancellations made outside the required notice period are non-refundable.
- Refunds are processed through the original payment method where applicable.
Operational Cancellations
Melitos Excursions reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule activities where necessary to ensure guest safety and operational readiness.
This may occur due to:
- Unsafe weather conditions
- Unsafe water conditions
- Safety concerns
- Minimum booking requirements not being met
- Operational circumstances beyond our control
Where an activity is cancelled by Melitos Excursions, guests will receive:
- A full refund, or
- The option to reschedule at no additional cost.
